The Church shares a driveway with the Village Hall (above) which had been built as a school in 1876. The school is now in Bollin Grove. |

Prestbury Church is part of
the worldwide Methodist Church which has grown from its initial roots that were
laid down in the eighteenth century through the dedicated work of a number of
evangelists, most notably John and Charles Wesley. Today's church may outwardly
seem very different from the early days of open-air meetings held by travelling
preachers, but the original emphases of Methodism are still very evident in the
'Calling Priorities' of the Methodist
Church today.
