Prestbury Methodist Church

Village Hall

The Church shares a driveway with the Village Hall (above) which had been built as a school in 1876. The school is now in Bollin Grove.

Methodist Church

The Church was built to replace the former Methodist Chapel. The move took place in 2001.

Prestbury Church is part of the worldwide Methodist Church which has grown from its initial roots that were laid down in the eighteenth century through the dedicated work of a number of evangelists, most notably John and Charles Wesley. Today's church may outwardly seem very different from the early days of open-air meetings held by travelling preachers, but the original emphases of Methodism are still very evident in the 'Calling Priorities' of the Methodist Church today.
